Enable System Permissions

MacStats requires specific macOS permissions to unlock its full potential, including process management and seamless automatic updates.

1. Process Management (Accessibility)

To forcefully quit stuck processes or background agents directly from the MacStats dashboard, you need to grant Accessibility permissions.

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
  3. Click the + button at the bottom and select MacStats from your Applications folder to add it.

2. Seamless App Updates (App Management)

To let MacStats update itself automatically without prompting you with a security warning every time, please grant App Management permissions.

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security > App Management.
  3. Click the + button at the bottom and select MacStats from your Applications folder to add it.
