How do I use the AI Explainer?
Open MacStats from the menu bar and tap any process in the Top CPU or Top RAM list. The insight view explains what that process is, why it is busy, and whether it is safe to touch.
Why does macOS show a security warning when I open it?
MacStats is a direct download and is not yet notarised by Apple. Go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, scroll down and click "Open Anyway". It is a one-time step.
Is MacStats a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase for your major version, and the free tier does not expire.
